A $6.7 billion, three-year support plan for Jamaica’s reconstruction after Hurricane Melissa

Following Hurricane Melissa and at the request of Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness, the CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean, the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), the Inter-American Development Bank Group (IDB Group), the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG) jointly put in place a comprehensive aid plan of up to $6.7 billion over three years to bolster Jamaica’s recovery and reconstruction efforts.
